I’m so surprised that it took so long for this movie to find a distributor (it was screened two years ago at the Toronto Film Festival) and that it got stuck with an R Rating. Catica Untaru is phenomenal and so is the fact that Tarsem Sigh financed this movie himself, scouted for the film for over 14 years, took 4 years to film on location in 18 countries, and creates an amazing world with almost no CGI (“if you see CGI, it’s really only to remove poles and more cleaning than anything else”). If you have a chance see it while it’s still in theaters.
